This is a list of all known bugs in Tropico. If there is a bug you find report it on our forum or comment with any thoughts on the matter. Posting here gives credit to the original author of the bug. - Game crashes are most likely caused by corrupted saves. If you are experiencing crashes, make sure your savegames are in order. The game can crash when trying to load a savegame that doesn't exist. The game might crash when trying to load a savegame created with an older version of the game or with DLC that isn't installed. To fix this, delete that savegame and create a new one, then try again. - The game may randomly crash upon loading the world map for multiplayer games (solo games don't seem to be affected). This was not an issue in Tropico 4 multiplayer games, so it is probably related to Tropical Revolution gameplay changes (new rebels types etc. ). Crashes seem to occur only when the server loads the world map. The best way to avoid crashes is to have a multiplayer savegame from Tropico 3 installed. - In the Tropico 4 expansion, a glitch can occur where a unit will start attacking a different type of unit if it is already attacking another, so long as there is at least one enemy left in its path. This glitch can be fixed by having your forces(equipped with grenades) wait next to the destroyed building and let them go clear the area before approaching. This will clear out any leftover enemies as well as any attackable rebels that may be hiding in buildings or otherwise not visible to you due to their types. - If you build a Pirate Cove and you build another one – the second one will not increase your income. It will still say "0" gold per day, yet pirates and ships and boats and such will still appear (Cannot confirm whether they attack anything or not). - The game can crash when trying to save a multiplayer game.
